rgentina’s agribusiness has already lost US$ 1.084 billion as a result of government interventions in the grain and meat markets, estimates the economic studies institute linked to the Argentine rural society.
According to the institute, one of the biggest hits in the production chain were rural producers, who lost US$ 411 million, followed by slaughterhouses, who lost US$ 165 million. Losses in workers’ compensation totaled another US$ 59 million, says the organization.
