Under the order of the Director of Infrastructure and Operations, João Augusto da Cunhalima, the Company informs that it has recently been found – specifically in the berths 201, 202 and 207 – a silting up higher than expected. It is just a strip of sediments carried by the riverbed and concentrated in the concrete structure of the berths, on the seabed.
Codesa clarifies that maintenance services to restore the mooring condition are already planned. It is estimated that, within 60 days, such routine services will be completed.
During this period, the maneuvering tests for new drafts (10,67m a 12,5m) are still suspended. There is no loss for the other operations at the Port of Vitória.
